![]() ![]() This was just an example, i tried to mess arround with the fan curve but it wont listen 100% to my fan curve, if i put the curve to make the gpu fans run all the time at 100% it will do, i dont understand. Here is an example: If i make a curve from 2 points, first lowest point being at 30 degrees C and 0% fan speed, then i put second point at 70 degrees and 100% speed my gpu fans starting spinning for a second then they stop repeatedly. I am using a 1070 palit jetstream, when i try to make a custom fan curve it doesnt listen completly to my curve. The 2nd method likely could be a workaround when the power usage is too high for idle fan to normally work, but I don't have that issue so I can't fully verify. One keeps the default idle fan stop behavior at the 30% fan speed mark, the 2nd overrides this and requires a 0% fan speed point to be set as well. TLDR - if you want working fan control that doesn't disable idle stop and actually allows you to control the fan stop point - give the latest beta a try!Įdit - how to set idle fan stop, I found 2 ways of doing it. Firmware fan control limited to 3 points and doesn't seem to work with idle fan stop (limited testing).Statistics display correctly for both fan 1 and fan 2.Afterburner sets fan speeds correctly on both fan groups (my card has fan 1 and fan 2, middle and two outer).Idle fan stop point can be adjusted on your custom fan curve!!!.Idle fan stop works with a custom fan curve set.Tested this on my EVGA 3080 XC3 Ultra, short summary. MSI Afterburner 4.6.3 Beta 5 (build 16047)Īdded NVIDIA Ampere GPU architecture support: Latest MSI Afterburner 4.6.3 Beta adds fan control functionality for Ampere.
